The Catalyst Pack is a beautiful mid-capacity handlebar and saddle bag. A more compact option than the Zeitgeist Pack, the Catalyst’s trim profile allows for more tire clearance and narrower drop bars. Utilize the flap’s daisy chain of webbing to thread a Bungee Booster and stash a layer. This compact and rock-steady pack is a great option for shredding some gravel and makes a great edition to a lightweight bikepacking rig.

FIT-CHECK
Handlebar width compatibility: 30cm width
Step 1: Measure the spacing of your handlebars, inside-to-inside, at the hoods.
Step 2: If you have integrated shifting, enlist a friend to engage the levers fully into the center space between the bars, and measure the space from tip-to-tip.
Clearance (height) specs for use at the handlebars and on the saddle
You’ll need a minimum of 10” (25.5cm) of space between your bicycle handlebars and the top of your front or rear tire to use the Catalyst Pack without a support or rack. Keep in mind that a weighted down pack may sag into the wheel, and pay attention to avoid abrasion.
With a rack: As little as 6.5″ (16.5cm) of clearance is required to run the Catalyst Pack on the front with a Carradice Universal Bar Rack. Note that the Carradice Bagman Support is not compatible with the Catalyst Pack.

I usually hate handlebar bags, but this one changed my mind. It's light, compact, and spacious, and, best of all, unobtrusive. Except for grocery runs, this is my new go-to bag for everything.
Love this bag. I use it for my hydration bladder and snacks on my long gravel rides!!
The bag feels high quality but the design doesn't seem very field tested.
Could use an interior pocket in the main pouch. The internal draw string system is okay, not super quick to access items inside. The two clip system on the front is also pretty cumbersome. The bag tilts forward and I'm unsure if there were instructions on how to mount it so it stays a little more upright. This is my first real handle bar bag, to be fair. A little frustrated I had to pay extra for the additional bungie cord. Overall I think its over priced, which I know is hard to hear.
Unfortunately never received my package and both company and shipping can’t help me!
Prior to purchasing the Catalyst Pack, I had previously bought a Bandito Bag and an Acme Tech Tote. In both instances, the Swift products are larger than other brands with comparable listed specs.
With that in mind, I confidently ordered a Catalyst knowing that the listed specs will be true to size. Sure enough, it is! I am able to fit my bulky u-lock and cable inside the Catalyst, along with tools, keys, wallet, cellphone, and snacks with room to spare. The profile photo below shows it stuffed with all the aforementioned items plus a hoodie! It looks overstuffed, but it all fit! Please note that I am using a Restrap Bumper Bar with the bag, which makes it stand off quite a bit from the head tube. I liked it so much that I ordered the previous version of the Catalyst at a discount. They are both great, but the newer one seems more durable and higher quality.
